Supplier assurance, also known as third party management or supplier due diligence, is a vital process for any company.

Being able to determine whether a third party should be trusted with a particular business function is key. Not only is it a legal requirement in many countries, it’s also good business. Whether it’s a supply agreement, a data processing agreement, the sourcing of staff or the provisioning of a cloud based service.

For suppliers of goods and services, being able to quickly respond to a supplier assessment request, and demonstrating that you can meet the requirements, can be the difference between winning a contract and losing it. This is particularly important for suppliers of critical or high impact services such as Software as a Service (SaaS), just in time logistics and financial services companies.
